About Discount Air Purifier
Plain guides to air purifiers.
What we do
We publish general guides about air purifiers: how they work, HEPA and carbon filters, MERV, CADR, room size, placement, what drives cost, energy use, filter replacement, ozone, CARB certification, wildfire smoke, and allergies.
What we do not do
Discount Air Purifier is the name of this site, not a claim about any air purifier or any price. We do not sell air purifiers. We do not publish prices, deals, discounts, reviews, ratings, rankings, or product picks, and we do not say in our own words that any air purifier is discounted, cheap, or costs less than another. We do not claim to have tested products. We do not give medical advice. We do not accept payment to recommend a retailer, brand, or product.
How we keep it accurate
Facts come from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (including its ENERGY STAR program and AirNow), the U.S. Department of Energy, and the California Air Resources Board, each linked on the page that uses it. None of them endorses this site or approves any product.
Who runs the site
Discount Air Purifier is operated by X Enterprises, LLC, Bothell, WA.
